Files, images and applications.

This is where it all begins, so we take great pains to get this phase right.
Whatever the output method, the Pre-Press department's job is to take your files and prepare them for Press.

Functions include:

• Preflight incoming jobs, check all elements are present...images logos fonts etc.
• Check for appropriate color format, fonts, and graphics for quality and correct formats.
• Adjust and manipulate files, including photo adjustment/enhancement, color conversion (RGB to CMYK).
• Page layout,accounting for folds, trims, bleeds, and adding crop marks as necessary.
• Send press-ready documents to press, and generate proofs to ensure there are no surprises on the final output.
